The look on her face is priceless!!

On day 5 Justin made this cake from scratch, even the icing. At first glance it looked like a wedding cake. In fact a few of the teachers wondered why there was a wedding cake in the fridge. However, when you cut into it it was layered in rainbow colors. He had to bake each layer separate. Not only was it a beautiful cake, but it taste really good too! My hubby is a great daddy. He loves his girl. He was right, it does remind me of her!

More from the birthday...

For some reason this blog will not let me put more than 5 pics at a time, so I have broken up the pictures into a few posts.

On day three we made rainbow jello. This was a little tricky because we had to make and set each layer separate. We made it over the course of three days.

On day four we made fruit cups out of grapes, blueberries, kiwi, pineapple, oranges, and strawberries.

Happy 9th Birthday Sweet Girl!!

I can't believe it but she turned 9!! We provided the snack for her class for the week. About a month before her birthday her dad was looking on the internet and he came across a cake that he said reminded him of her. He said he wanted make it for her when her big day came. With the cake in mind we decided to go for the rainbow theme for the snacks.

On day one we made cake pops. They are so easy to make and are out of this world delicious!! These were made with red velvet cake and cream cheese icing. YUM!

On day two we dipped pretzels in white chocolate and swirled them in rainbow sprinkles.

Lemonade for sale!

These kids got bored one day and decided to make a lemonade stand. They were so cute. We moms just sat back and took pictures. People continued to come even after the stand was taken down.
We love our neighbors! They really are the best. My little man was sitting at the dinner table the other day, obviously thinking hard on something. Then he said, "I hope we live here forever so we can always live by them." It was so sweet.

He is ALLLLLL Boy!!!

He came running in one day wanting me to come and see what he could do. He swung from the wooden beams outside and then stopped to show me how big his muscles have gotten. WOOOOO! Man was I impressed! He is going to protect some lucky woman one day. AND SHE BETTER BE IMPRESSED TOO!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Kindergarten Graduation

My little man (my sister's third child) graduated from kindergarten. CRAZY! He is aging me. Hadeyn was born while I was away in China. I can so remember going to see him for the first time. He was born in Louisiana because he was a preemie. He was so tiny and cute. He is truly her funniest kid. He keeps us cracking up by saying things like, "OHHH girl you must be identified!" hahaha
Who in the world knows what that means! I guess I am identified. I do hope his mom is writing these things down so we can laugh about it for years to come.
Love you big boy!! Congratulations!!

Here it goes...

Don't know where to start so I'll just dive in!! Sweet Pea was baptized. She was so brave. We are very proud of her!
