Let Freedom Ring!

Yesterday we went to the "Freedom Fest". It was hot but we had a lot of fun. The fire works were awesome. I tried to take some pictures of them and this is what I got.

People were handing out these 3D glasses that I have never seen before. I was wondering how on earth the show was going to be 3D? When I put them on I realized they are kind of like kaleidoscopic glasses and they made rainbows shoot out of the fireworks. AWESOME!! I wish I could have captured what I saw through the glasses.

As I was sitting there listening to the music I could not help but think of our freedom and those that sacrifice so much to bring it to us. Having been a military wife for 4 years I understand first hand all that is given up to fight for freedom. I still can not sing those songs with out getting chocked up. My heart and prayers go out to the men and women who have fought or lost their lives to give us the freedom to do so many things. O how truly blessed we are in America. We have so much to be thankful for. God had truly shined grace upon us.

When I think about His great blessings on America I can't help but think also about the freedom that was given through Jesus Christ. I also thought about my friends who are sacrificing so much to live in other countries that do not have our same "freedom" to bring a message that gives ultimate freedom!
To those friends I say:
I thought about you today! Miss you and praying God's protection and grace upon you. Thank you for what you do to bring a message of freedom from sin to so many. May all the glory and honor be to God who picks us up, dusts of off, and sets us free!
